Holidays on the Mediterranean in Javea (Xàbia) on the Costa Blanca

Javea, (Xàbia) is a small port town in the north of the Costa Blanca with about 31,000 inhabitants and is located between the Cape St. Antonio in the north and the Cape La Nau with the residential area Balcon al Mar. He is protected by the imposing mountain massif of Montgò (753m). The Mediterranean, with beautiful beaches of white fine sand, small and romantic, secretive coves, lapped on 25km in length the rocky cliffs and small islands. North of Javea (Xàbia) is the botanical reserve of the València region and inland, in the direction of Moraira there are extensive orchards and vineyards. The town of Javea (Xàbia) is located inland and has retained a historic core with tufa facades, gothic windows, wrought-iron balcony and window grilles and bright courtyards. The fishery is still of great local importance and about 20 fishing boats return daily from the nocturnal catch in the harbor and there is a fish market instead. Aduanas del Mar, the waterfront and El Arenal beach area with its commercial center are the tourist hotspots during the summer.
