Cambrils Holidays in Spain on the Costa Dorada

Cambrils is located in the heart of the Costa Dorada, the golden coast, in the province of Catalonia, Spain. The former small fishing village has a long tradition. The city was founded by the Romans. Cambrils has a multitude of beaches that are strung together like pearls on a chain. The fine sand and the gently sloping coast make the beaches of Cambrils very family-friendly and safe. A wide range of water sports and gastronomy is offered here. The beach promenade Paseo Marítimo connects the small beaches and is lined with restaurants, beach bars and shops. Traditional Catalan cuisine is famous for its fish and other goodies. Today the port is mainly used as a sports port, but there is a small fishing fleet that still sails every day and delivers the fish for the day.
