Alcalalí Holidays on the Costa Blanca in Spain

The town of Alcalalí (also Alcanalí) is located in the Valle de Pop, 240 meters above sea level, about 20 km from the coast, inland between Mount Seguili and the Carrascal mountain range. The name comes from Arabic. The cultivation of oranges, almonds and wine, plus the production of honey and basket-weaving are the basis of the economy. You can learn how to make lace in the municipality's lace school. The Vall de Pop is a popular destination for locals and tourists. For walkers and hikers there are routes of various levels of difficulty, but also routes for climbers in the mountains of Seguili (rock paintings) and Carrascal.
